This poncho was initially made in 2013 for my mom. I’ve taken notes and written its first pattern in a “one size fits most” version. Then we made a photo session with my friend Tanya Kostyuk and posted some photos on Instagram and Facebook. People started ordering the knitted item in different colors and sizes. So in 2019 I had enough info and notes to add sizes to this pattern.
I made this poncho in various worsted and aran weight yarns but my favorite has been Cashmerino Aran by Debbie Bliss (shown on the photos).

- US terminology with measurements given in inches and centimeters
- Skill level: Advanced/Experienced. Knitting in the round, picking stitches, seaming skills required
